Music Together^®® classes are unusual in that they mix ages birth through five (except in our special age classes). Because the activities focus on adult/child interaction rather than child/child interaction, children of different ages (such as siblings) can enjoy class together. 

Infants 0 - 8 months; non-mobile with Adults

A born sounder and mover, your baby is already equipped with the means and potential to make music. You've probably noticed how they respond when you play a song in the car or sing them a song to soothe them. Developing your baby's natural musicality will open the door to a world of possibility, not only for music learning but for all learning. The early months are so important to this process, which is why Music Together designed this special class to help you every step of the way.

Music Together offers a one-semester Babies Class for families with babies from birth through eight months of age. In this class, the activities are specifically designed to teach you how to support music development in infancy and how to connect with your baby through music using methods such as "purposeful touch," "sound-layering," "dancing for baby," etc. And since our Babies Class uses the same song collections as our other classes, you will experience a seamless transition as your baby grows into our mixed-age and Rhythm Kids^® classes.

Experience a FREE Music Together demonstration class This is a unique opportunity for you to see Music Together's underlying, research-based philosophy at work. While in class you may notice some unique aspects: mixed ages, parent education “moments” during class, a variety of tonalities and meters, multi-modal learning experiences, modeling of and opportunity for creativity and improvisation, each child participating at his/her own level of development, opportunities for each child learning in his or her own style, and the teacher's facilitation of each adult’s music and movement experience. Music Together is accessible to everyone who attends and supports musical development at all ages! Registration is required for demonstration classes.

Rhythm Kids^®® Level 2 is for children 5-8 years old who are ready to lead musical activities with their peers. Children dig deeper and gain a richer understanding of how music works.   

Each week we drum, sing, dance, play rhythm instruments, and play music-based games that reinforce, in a fun, playful manner, the rhythm patterns that we learn in class. Rhythm Kids^®® guides children toward developmentally appropriate music and movement activities, where they can begin to take charge, lead others, and be musically creative.

Rhythm Kids^®® carries on the Music Together® vision to help children complete the pathway of early childhood music development from birth through age eight.

Parent participation is welcome, but not mandatory. 

Join us for a specail preview of our Rhythm Kids^®® class! This class is designed for children 4-8 years old who are ready to lead musical activities with their peers. Children dig deeper and gain a richer understanding of how music works.

Rhythm Kids^®®  Summer Camp is a drop-off camp for children 5-8 years old who are ready to lead musical activities with their peers. Children dig deeper and gain a richer understanding of how music works.   

Each day at camp, we will drum, sing, dance, play rhythm instruments, and play music-based games that reinforce--in a fun, playful manner!--the musical concepts that we learn in class. Rhythm Kids^®® guides children toward developmentally appropriate music and movement activities, where they can begin to take charge, lead others, and be musically creative.

Camps will run for 1 week, 4 hours per day. Children will bring a water bottle, snack, and lunch to camp each day.

A practice clss is by invite only for experienced familes.

Rhythm Kids^® Level 1 is the next musical step for your preschool child (ages 4–5. Children need to be 4 by Sept 1). It is recommended that a parent/caregiver stay and participate for at least the first class of the session. Following the first week of class, adults are welcome and encouraged to stay and play whenever they are able!
